Research study of an investigational medication for Severe Depression.

Study Description

A Phase 4, multicenter, randomized, open-label, active comparator, parallel group trial for the evaluation of duloxetine versus other antidepressants in the treatment of patients with severe baseline symptoms of major depressive disorder.

Length of study: 15 weeks

Number of office visits: Up to 8

Qualified participants will receive study medication and study related services at no cost. Additionally, there is compensation for time and travel for qualified participants.

Study inclusion/exclusion criteria:

You may qualify for this study if you:

• Are 18 years of age or older
• Are without serious health problems
• Are not addicted to drugs or alcohol
• Do not have certain conditions such as Bipolar Disorder or Schizophrenia
