Study Description

An 8-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled parallel-group, multi-center study of the efficacy and safety of xxxx administered once daily in patients with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

Length of study: up to 10 weeks

Number of office visits: up to 7 visits

Qualified participants will receive study medication and study related services at no cost. In addition, participants will be reimbursed for time and travel.

Study inclusion/exclusion criteria

This study is only available to persons who meet all study criteria and:

• Read and understand English
• Meet criteria for Major Depressive Disorder
• Are 18 to 70 years old and are without serious health problems
• Do not have certain conditions such as Bipolar Disorder or alcohol and substance abuse
