Research study of a currently marketed medication for Alzheimer’s Disease.

Study Description

A phase 4, randomized, parallel group, double-blind, multicenter study comparing the effects of 2 doses of an investigational medication on activities of daily living and cognition in subjects with severe Alzheimer’s Disease.

Length of study: Approximately 6 months.

Number of office visits: Up to 6 visits.

At no cost, qualified participants receive:

  • Study-related memory evaluation by a Board-Certified Geriatric Psychiatrist
  • MRI scan and study-related diagnostic and laboratory evaluations
  • Study medication
  • Reimbursement for time and travel for patient and caregiver

Study inclusion/exclusion criteria

This study is only available if the following apply to the potential participant.

  • Has significant severe memory impairment
  • Is at least 50 years old
  • Is in stable medical health
  • Does not live in a skilled nursing facility
  • Has a reliable caregiver who can accompany the patient
